IIFM Meets IILA: Shared Visions for Inclusive and Sustainable Fashion Futures
As part of its international outreach strategy, the Italian Institute of Fashion Management had the honor of meeting with Antonella Cavallari, Secretary General of IILA – the Italo-Latin American International Organization. The institutional meeting focused on exploring future avenues of academic cooperation between Italy and Latin America in the field of fashion education, creative industries, and cultural innovation.
The discussion emphasized shared priorities such as inclusive growth, sustainability, and the empowerment of young talents, particularly in emerging economies across the Latin American region. IIFM reaffirmed its mission to create bridges between cultures and systems through education, by developing programs that combine managerial skills, fashion culture, and entrepreneurship.
This strategic dialogue marks the beginning of a broader plan to co-design academic initiatives, exchange programs, and joint projects aimed at strengthening institutional relations and contributing to the development of local fashion ecosystems.
