Innovation Rooted in Identity: IIFM Takes Part in IILA’s International Seminar
The Italian Institute of Fashion Management is proud to have contributed to the final seminar of the international training cycle “Regenerating the Roots of Territories: Innovation and Local Production”, promoted by IILA – the Italian-Latin American International Organization – in collaboration with Cámara Verde Chile.

Representing IIFM, Dean and Director-General Nicola Guerini took part in a dynamic dialogue that brought together leading professionals, institutions, and educators from over ten Latin American countries.

His contribution focused on the pivotal role of systemic knowledge in shaping sustainable production models. He emphasized how education and culture can become active tools for innovation when deeply rooted in identity and supported by interdisciplinary thinking.

This initiative confirmed IIFM’s commitment to international cooperation, where education is seen as a strategic driver for connecting territories, promoting sustainable development, and empowering communities through design and culture.
