IIFM Students Behind the Brief: A Project Work Journey with Swarovski
As part of their Master’s programme, our students presented their final Project Work projects at the headquarters of Swarovski, marking an important milestone in their educational journey.
The presentations offered students the opportunity to share the outcomes of their work in front of the Top Management Team, applying the knowledge and skills acquired throughout the programme to real-world business challenges delivered by the company on clienteling, CRM and event management. The event was attended by IIFM Faculty and Company managers, who had followed and supported the students throughout the project development process, providing valuable guidance and industry insights.

Bridging Academic Knowledge and Industry Practice
Project Work represents a key component of the Master’s programme, providing a practical learning experience that connects academic knowledge with the realities of the industry. By working on projects developed in collaboration with established brands, students gain first-hand experience in interpreting business needs, developing strategic proposals, and presenting their ideas to industry professionals.
This approach encourages the development of essential skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, project management, teamwork, and professional communication. It also gives students the opportunity to receive direct feedback from company representatives, gaining a deeper understanding of industry expectations and professional standards.
The collaboration with Swarovski and Maurel highlights the importance of building strong connections between education and industry. Through these experiences, students are able to test their capabilities, translate theory into practice, and strengthen their readiness to enter the professional world.

A Special Thank You to Our Partners
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Swarovski, as well as to the managers who accompanied our students throughout this journey, for their valuable contribution, time, and commitment. Their willingness to share their expertise and engage with our students made this experience particularly meaningful, enriching the learning process and strengthening the connection between the Master’s programme and the industry.
By integrating Project Work into the Master’s programme, learning becomes an active and immersive experience — one that empowers students to transform knowledge into practical solutions and prepare for the challenges of their future careers.
